Eufy is owned by Anker It has become a household name in the world of low-cost robot vacuums. However, it didn't offer a model that could also mop. This is changing with the X8 Hybrid, which has an impressive array of modern features and is able to compete with more expensive models.

Eufy's main selling point with this machine is its laser navigation. Previous Eufy devices have constructed an outline of your home utilizing infrared sensors and bumping into things however the X8's laser mapping system is far more precise. This budget robot looks like your typical robot but it's a step up in terms of performance and features. Its smart mapping system generates 3D and 2D maps of your house and uses them to navigate around and avoid obstacles. This combination of sensors, along with a bump sensor and an infrared drop sensor that keeps it off steps, makes it one of the most agile vacuums we've tested.

In our tests, it easily climbed over thick shag rugs and didn't get stuck on them (like the RoboVac 11s or Roomba 690). Its navigation abilities were impressive as well; its composite score in carpet and bare floors was better than the competition and it took in 98.5 percent of surface pet hair and litter from our lab test samples.

The controls are more basic than those of the competition; there's an oblong cleaning button at the top and you can start it from the app, bagless Robot vacuum or by voice command with Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also schedule daily or weekly cleanings, designate no-go zones, and look up its cleaning history. In a smart dark gray plastics, Ion feels sturdy and looks stylish in your home. Its rear dust bin is easy to access for emptying and removing the filter is equally easy.

5. Eufy 11S

If you're looking for a simple robotic vacuum that is simple and has no frills for a reasonable cost, the Eufy11S might be your best bet. It isn't equipped with some of the advanced features, like digital mapping and Alexa integration, which are available in higher-end models however, if you don't require those functions you can save a little cost with this model.

The robot is easy to setup and use. It does not require a smartphone app or Wi-Fi pairing, however it does have the ability to control the remote with a remote that allows you to select between different modes and alter the suction level. It also comes with more advanced automation features than many competitors, including the ability to set virtual boundary markers with its mobile app. It's a dependable robot vacuum, even if its app is a bit sluggish and the 980 spins when it comes across cables.

We love the 980 due to its iAdapt2.0 navigation sensors and its visual simultaneity localisation and mapping (or vSLAM) to remember your home's floor plan.
