WoW Upgrades - The item upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item upgrader kit by 3. A random substat is also added to every upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as useful for those with higher variance due to the need to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any type of armor or weapons. However, the item level upgrade used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.

The upgrader can be found in every major city, and is accessible anytime to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each few weeks.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the item level, but they will always be cheaper than buying new equipment. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, purchasing a similar piece from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that are used to improve the quality of weapons tools, armor, and other items. They can be bought by players from NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for different currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade item can be used on any tool, weapon, or armor. button, which will display an item's preview at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the item slot and current item level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers, for example. Crests

Players have a number of options when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW.
