What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader adds a new widget at the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager is a cost of 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no other benefit to the game, aside from making it easier to purchase upgrades.

Certain items come with inherent boo, which is not beneficial when upgraded, for example the Goldwrap that gives you more slots for potion. They are often upgraded to add more value to a near-perfect or perfect item.

Costs

Upgrades come with some associated costs. The first is the cost of performing the upgrade. The cost for this upgrade can be costly and is contingent on the new level of the item as well as the number of perks it gets. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be costly.

The second is the cost of the materials required to upgrade. Occasionally, the upgrader will make other changes to an item, for example, changing the type of weapon damage or adding or removing an operative or unwieldy property. Success Rate

The basis for upgrading items is an opportunity, and like any random system there is an opportunity that the upgrade will fail. However there are some things that can increase the chances of success. This includes using an Upgrade Pity or the addition extra materials to your upgrade.

The Upgrade Pity can be purchased from the NPC for the smithing process in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of an upgrade's success by a percentage. It's similar to the "luck bonus" that certain items provide, but it is more reliable. It can be added to any weapon or armor, and is used three times.

It is also possible to add a range of additional items to the upgrade, increasing its chance of success. These are displayed in a separate window, above the + button. However, there are limitations to this, and the largest amount of material that can be added is displayed right above the + button in the UI.

A Blacksmith Blessing, or an upgraded version thereof, can be used to increase the chances of an upgrade being successful. This item is helpful if you have an item of equipment that is at the maximum level for its tier, or is close to it. It will let you upgrade that piece of equipment to the next level without having to worry about breaking.

If an upgrade fails the upgrade will be reversed to its original state. This is often a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. It is an excellent idea to save upgrades for when you're close to the highest level of an item, and use it as an emergency.

Failure Rate
