Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A specific item can be used to evolve certain Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and can be offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.

Upgrades can be applied to weapons, armors trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools to boost their level. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests depending on the kind of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, armors, weapons and other tools for gathering in order to provide attributes or other bonuses when the equipment is being used. Upgrade components are only available on equipment that has an upgrade slot. Most upgrade components also require that the item upgrades being upgraded is above a certain level. Some upgrade items also have special effects when they are applied to an item of equipment. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, bought from Karma merchants or exchanged with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and used as rewards.

There are various upgrade item components, each with a different bonus. Universal upgrades such as gems and inscriptions can be applied to any type of equipment. They offer fewer bonuses than the other types of upgrade components. Infusions are used in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, and enrichments are utilized for certain items that have been ascended. Most upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, however doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. The exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and put back in.

Insignias, enchantments, and prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item upgrader mod while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components that have been added to an item will be visible in the tooltip of the item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you view and insert these special characters, as well as regular glyphs like em dashes, en dashes registered trademark symbols, as well as glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph provides a primary stat boost for the character. The glyph can also have up to four secondary stats that alter the radius of your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats can be described as a %-increase that is multiplied after other bonuses have been applied except for Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.

Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the selected item upgrader. Be aware that only the correct type of Glyph can be applied to the item upgrader kit you are looking for in that every weapon, jewelry or armor piece can have distinct sets of Glyphs.

You can increase the level of Glyphs by working through Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more challenging the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience that you will get. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it can be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node every 15 levels at which a Glyph is upgraded.

Once a Glyph has been leveled up to the desired level, you can activate it by selecting it, then clicking the "enchant" button. The Glyph that is created will grant its stated benefit, and boost other nodes within its range on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs where they can best benefit your build, and that is why it's beneficial to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Some glyphs, however, may offer dual bonuses in the event that certain conditions are satisfied which is why they're worth checking out for too.

If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a variety of perspectives. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow the list of glyphs further using an option under "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs; Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is the process of creating a new account in order to increase your chances of getting a character or weapon you'd like. It is done to to level up faster, or to obtain more valuable loot like the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters that they like regardless of their abilities. It could be because they like the style or personality of the character.

You must ensure that you make clean changes every time you roll back. You should check locally to see if the patch passes the pre-commit test and run a core dev check. The patch should be uploaded with a clear difference to an issue (see What is an interdiff?) ).

Rerolls can be weeks or days long depending on how lucky you are. To speed up the process, avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this period. In addition it is recommended to not repeat any quests that could be completed later in the game. This can save you time and energy.

When rerolling, it is crucial to be aware of the upgrade system. There are many ways to improve your character's appearance as well as power. This includes upgrading your weapons or characters, rerolling them and purchasing upgrades. It is also important to know the limitations of the system.

Rerolling is not a necessary part of the game, but it can be useful to increase the chances of winning a specific character or weapon. You can use it to determine the best character or to play around with different builds and playstyles.

Sets

A set is a group of objects that share common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or members of the class). Sets allow for operations like union, intersection and distinction.

Upgrades can make a set better than it was before. This means that weapons and armor will have a greater defense value and less strength requirements.

Upgrading is an excellent way to bring popular single-set items to parity with their higher-tier set counterparts. For example, upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to an Elite Spired Helm boosts the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a more attainable range.

It is important to keep in mind that not all items in an assortment can be upgraded. Some sets, such as the FB Sorc spec's Whistan's Shield or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already Exceptional and Elite in their own right and don't require upgrading. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit by being upgraded to boost their stats even more. For these types of items, it may be worth the extra cost to upgrade them.
