The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the touch of one button. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and Quietest Robot Vacuum rice or two thorough mappings of your home to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It can remove pet hair and also suck big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other kyvol robot vacuum vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an improved filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. We like the statement but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the quietest robot Vacuum knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is even better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay if want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create little noise, allowing you to work or watch television without interruption. If it comes into contact with the wall or a piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and then moves forward.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background and also cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of alerting you when something is in need of attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my tests cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first attempt. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you can wish for. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty when needed.

Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can control it even when you're away from home. It also has more mopping options and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of just following a specific path.

The Omni Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does an excellent job. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with a range of features that you do not often find on robots in this price. It can build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features however they can push the L10s into the premium category. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving through the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that is a switch for on and off. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel includes an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the app's settings menu where you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop efficiently without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR assists the goovi robot vacuum vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and removing all but the most difficult juice stain. The mops also work well in removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the hard floor and Quaker oats on carpet.
