World of Warcraft Item Upgrader

The item upgrader is a tool players can utilize to increase the performance of armor and weapons. It requires Power Dices and the items required to perform the upgrade.

Rerolling an item won't affect EDs, resistances or sockets. However, it may increase the damage for certain stats. Upgrade items can be upgraded in the like normal weapons. Their upgrade paths are based on of a base item’s stats. These upgrades can be upgraded to give more powerful results.

A sword, for example could be upgraded to a halberd using an item upgrader that increases the damage of specific stats. This can result in increase in attack speed and damage of all abilities available on the item, even those that don't use physical attacks. However, the new upgrade won't affect a sword's base damage.

The upgrade of an item can also alter its upgrade path, which decreases the chance of acquiring an unsatisfactory affix. This is especially important for gear, such as Rogue gear that depends on a good affix to succeed in the game.

In addition to rerolling, an upgrader for the item can transfer substats between items. This mechanic is only available for rings, and can only be used on items with the same tier as well as rarity. It is a great way to improve the quality of an item without spending lots of money.

There is a small upgrade for the re-rolling system called EZ Upgrader that can be purchased with 1 Angel Investors. Upgraded Hwanins Bills might not be OP however they might be more useful in the beginning of hell, before high-level runewords are gained.

A helmet can be transformed into a shield or sword or a guard can be transformed into a Cloak. Rerolling an item does not increase your chances of getting the BIS however it can reduce the amount of money that you use to upgrade.
