The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking for a robot vacuum for carpet mop and vacuum that's mid-range. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the base of charging. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the click of one button. You can select an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and also suck big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used, but we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the high price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, carpet and also to clean your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. And its mopping system is better - its spinning pads scrub your floors much more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a problem for those who want to own one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, produce little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently bumps into it before moving along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the bin hidden from view and also washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong, such as a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create or merge rooms to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. This is a great feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's some items that need to be cleared out regularly, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you can wish for. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that is able to better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the best mopping robot. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It can build precise floor carpet maps, recognize different types of flooring, and it's one of the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice but they also place the L10s in the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the settings menu of the app where you can alter how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This allows the robot to clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
