The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features found in its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as other models do, to identify your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as an area for dirt that is integrated into the charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and recommend automatic schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the touch of a button. You can select a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal or two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and best buy robot vacuum walls. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning robot mop and vacuum times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a problem for those who want to own one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. If it encounters the wall or a piece of furniture it gently smacks into it before moving along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong, such as a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create or combine rooms to personalize the way Q Revo treats your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's a lot of items that need to be removed frequently, like toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you could wish for. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, Best Buy Robot Vacuum known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean up 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.

Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can control it even when you're not home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of simply following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. But while these functions are useful however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the house. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the settings menu in which you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4% of debris from our hardwood floor test and taking out all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor, or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
