The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features found in its more expensive counterpart.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the hidden bin and also cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something needs attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's some clutter that needs to be removed frequently, like clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my test and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can create precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features however they can place the L10s in the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home.
