The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features found in its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to identify your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and a variety of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of the button. You can select an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models and can pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice statement, but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like stairs and Industrial Robot vacuum other barriers and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less abrasive than the more powerful ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move away whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the bin hidden from view and also washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong, such as the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

That's a handy feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's clutter that needs to be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium narwal robot mop and vacuum vacuum and mop and more. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It can make detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are great however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category and could mean it's a little more expensive than some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and removing all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also do a great job and remove 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor or Quaker oats on carpet.
