A ladder that can be turned, a desk on wheels that slides between the two and three drawer cabinets and chest are all included. Most midi loft beds require a standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) and a wooden base. This is not included in the price of the bed, so we suggest looking at our fantastic mattress deals to find one that is within your budget!

Storage

A midi-cabin bed with storage is a great solution for a child's room that requires extra space. These beds for kids that are multi-functional are shorter than high-sleepers and typically come with an incline or ladder to make it easy to access. They are usually fitted with clever storage options such as drawers, cupboards and desks for storing books as well as toys and other items. Some models of midi loft beds have an attractive, movable tent that can be used for sleepovers, games or other activities.

Mattress

Most midi beds accept standard UK single mattresses, and the top bunk is equipped with a safety rail to give you extra peace of mind. Some models feature an trundle drawer with a pull-out that can be used to host sleeping overs, or for adding more storage space beneath the bed. They can be open or fitted with doors (please check the product's specifications for more details).

Many midi cabins include a desk which can be moved between the two upper levels, or chests of drawers. This gives children a bespoke space to store their belongings, and there's no need to use up valuable floor space with heavy shelving units or wardrobes.

Some models have gone a step further by having cabinets that are flush mounted, or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is perfect for storing toys and books.
