WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item upgrader mod by +3. A random additional substat is also increased with each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as useful for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. However, the item used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your gear. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader each couple of weeks.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from NPCs of item upgraders for various currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists.
