The Bruvi comes with two sizes of cups and can be adjusted to suit the type of beverage you're making. It comes with three settings for temperature and texture of the milk while making either a cappuccino, or lattes. It can also brew hot cocoa, which is ideal for adults and kids who want to unwind.

A programmable sleep function is another plus. It will switch to standby mode after a period of time without any use. It's also easy to clean and consumes only a small amount of water. Think about a machine with an open capsule holder that can be removed to make emptying the capsule easier.

There are additional accessories that you could add to your coffee pod like a milk froth (unless it's included in the model you buy). While the Bruvi brewer will cost more than Keurig or Nespresso, it is a great device in all aspects that is like the dawning of a new era in pod coffee.

Some models produce single-serve cups in a variety of sizes, ranging from large travel mugs, to 2-ounce espresso shots. Some machines can brew whole pots of coffee. Some models even come with milk frothers to make an incredibly creamy cappuccino or latte.

We didn't give this machine the top spot due to the fact that it's not able to milk froth. The only option is to use dried, skimmed milk capsules which do not taste as good as freshly squeezed milk. We would have given this machine top marks with an integrated milk frother.
