The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has mop lifter technology that will lift the pad automatically as it is able to switch between tile, laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be washed and then dried with the dock and the dust container is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can put it away and forget about it, and only need to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is at the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

This is a highly robust and well-rounded product with its only downsides being that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features make it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this automatic vacuum and mop robot if you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its high-end price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well throughout the house. It removed 98.4% debris on all types of floors and was able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as the powerful cleaning solution.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it requires regular maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are purchased separately, will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey price tag and extensive functionality I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're on a budget, I suggest an easier model that allows you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could find however, its cost and constant maintenance will make it seem more an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to tidy up mess and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power and a huge battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacles-avoiding. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.

Like most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests however this could be improved when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum. However, it still has some amazing features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area that are mapped by this device, or select individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like all Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is reliable, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a space, with no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well too, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but may not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

This machine has one major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can use the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and traces that remained after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot to clean up a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
