According to the report Miss Kelly was afflicted by a range of mental health issues, such as bipolar disorder, bulimia, and anorexia. She was also victimized by her husband and was an addict to drugs. Her symptoms were worsened by stress, anxiety, and depression. She was also diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder and the schizoaffective disorder.

Elayaperumal claims Medtronic discriminated against him intentionally because of his race or national origin.
