Easy to install

The first step is to remove the original cover from your key. This has to be removed before the new cover can be put in place.

After removing the old cover Use a flathead screwdriver to pry out the four main attachment clips located on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked in red on the picture below. Also note the locating tab slots that are highlighted in yellow. They must be removed as well.

After removing the battery replace it with a new CR2032 3 Volt coin cell battery. The "+" side of the battery should be facing the opening on the fob and the "side that is "-" side should face the buttons made of rubber.

Attach the cover for the passenger side mirror by aligning locating tabs. Once you've completed this, insert the driver side fob back in your vehicle and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is working as it should, the parking lights should be on and the doors will automatically lock.

Easy to remove
