The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized with a specialized app to save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles prevents it from running over furniture, wires or other toys. These features are crucial in my home, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even raise its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also can avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is higher than any other robot vacuum that mops vacuum we've tested so far. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on a surface.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also comes with mop lifter that lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock, and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. This means that you can set it and forget it, only having to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I used it on its standard vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've tested.

This is a very complete and robust product, with the only downside being the fact that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuums and mop. We would highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos on the market. In my testing it performed very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well with excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, fills up the water tank for mopping and even dries mop pads. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. Additionally it's not as adept at removing tough stains like those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads sold separately will also need to be changed periodically.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can find however, its cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a wish than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination comes with a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has a huge battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It even comes with a roller mop that cleans itself while moving this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and dumped into a larger storage bin. The onboard tank holds plenty of water and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

Like most robotic vacuums and mop combos like the S1 Pro is ready to take it out from the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. If you do choose to use this feature you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, just like the majority of robots. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, and it has some outstanding features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot vacuums that mop's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system is able to be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is complex, and offers various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can clean manually all areas that this device maps or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mop to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like the other Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in an organized way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a space, with no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, however it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option that could be an issue for people who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot vacuums best. There's a good alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. The vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot clean a little better than its competitors with lower prices.
