In our tests the i7+ was faster and more maneuverable than our second-placed model which was the eufy RoboVac G30, and it removed large chunks of pet hair from all surfaces types, including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy the dust bin is self-emptying which eliminates a major source of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.

We were also awestruck by the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot to start, stop, or pause cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room, and to vacuum a particular area. Connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. After connecting to these services, we were able communicate with the i7+ using voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom."
