The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot vacuum that also mop, this is the model you should go for. It's smaller than other options on this list making it easier to maneuver in tight corners and under furniture. It has a 220-degree lidar, which when combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop navigation and object avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It's got a battery of 4600mAh that can last up to 170 minutes if cleaning and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It can even return to its dock to replenish its battery in mid-clean.

It's very fast and does a fantastic job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted rooms extremely quickly and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways in one go. The motor's 8,000pa power allows it to clean dirt hair, pet hair, and droppings with ease. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs and the double side brushes help to clean debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, though not by a lot. The mop rotates at a high rate and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scraping away dirt and staining. I've also noticed that the front arms protrude out slightly more than other robots, which is useful to get into tight corners and along baseboards. Those same front arms can be used to sweep larger objects, such as broken toys and fallen books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot vacuum cleaner mops and vacuums I've tried. It doesn't create the same volume of sound when mopping or vacuuming, and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It's easy to install and works well however, this is something you'll need to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum solely for the reason of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a range of features.

The device is equipped with an efficient cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the home and also identify furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean methodically and intelligently. This leads to a thorough, consistent clean which is also relatively quick.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad is capable of reaching many surfaces. This includes corners, baseboards and other hard to reach places. The side brush can be stretched out to reach the floor close to the walls and other fixtures. The mop pads are washable and can be dried to eliminate odors and stop buildup.

Another noteworthy feature is the customizable options available via apps. The Q Revo lets you adjust the amount of suction and choose between a back-and-forth or slightly more random patterns. You can also choose the number of passes which will determine how quickly it can move around your home. You can also disable the side brush to avoid damaging carpets and rugs.

This device has a fairly expensive price, but has a variety of smart features. It is important to remember, however, that the device incurs recurring expenses in the form mopping supplies and regular maintenance. For example the brushroll needs to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to twelve months. The filter must be cleaned after 150 hours, and the mop pad needs to be replaced every three to six months.

The Shark Matrix Plus will be a good option for busy professionals or anyone who wants to keep their home neat without spending too much time on chores. Its powerful performance, smart navigation, and long battery life make it simple to maintain a clean home with minimal effort.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a 2-in-1 mop and vacuum. It is able to perform mopping and vacuuming. The robot comes with two modules: a combined dry bin and reservoir of water, and a separate mopping system with a microfiber pad that snaps into and out of position. Separate modules for mopping and vacuuming may seem a bit old-fashioned, but they do mean you don't have to worry about changing bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.

Our test participants found that the Matrix Plus did a great job at both vacuuming and mopping. Its best robot cleaner feature was its accurate floorplan map, which it uses to draw a route when cleaning. This made it a breeze for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture, rugs and other obstacles. The app lets you create 'No-Go Zones' or virtual barriers to stop certain areas from being cleaned by a mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a amazing job of collecting pet hair. It was able to capture some of the hair that sheds from our cats. It even got into the nooks and crannies on our stairs where other robots had struggled. It was relatively quiet and had some lovely jingles to signalled when it was starting or finished its work.

The biggest flaws were its simple app and the need to swap out the modules when switching between vacuuming and mopping. The app is not able to store multiple maps. This could be an issue if your house has several floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those looking for a smart robot vacuums best that can do both mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. However, it has distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's main draw is its enormous dock, which serves as the robot's charging base and housing for two 4-liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning and an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically eliminates.

The base has a couple of buttons for control that allow you to manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. Press two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are concerned about their children messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the X1 Omni uses its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more accurate in finding objects.

This can cause the X1 to become stuck if it gets entangled in a blockage, such as the power cable that is draped over a rug. It will not work until you untangle it manually. This is a rare event, but frustrating nonetheless, since the X1 does not have a "stuck status" alert in its application.

Another issue that could be a problem is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during the cleaning process. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad but the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between use. This can lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a big contrast to the basic black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. And it's a welcome sight for the market that is dominated by boxy models.
