World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on weapons, armor and rings. They also boost extra bonuses, such as damage from PvE and crit chance.

If the weapon's upgrade template ends in %, it will gain an additional 3% of the previous attack damage each time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons and armor to give them a stat boost or add a bonus effect. They can be acquired through crafting, buying from vendors trading or looting. Some upgrades also have specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment that has a slot to accommodate them. The item must be at the very least upgraded to blue level to allow a component to be applied. In contrast to other mods components can only be used one time; they cannot be applied multiple times or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are a kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascending equipment, as other items that are not ascended. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging gear from the ascended, or by completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may include a suffix or prefix that alters the name of the equipment with which it is applied (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades can increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions of the item upgrader mod using the smallest amount of Upgrade crystals than they would need to reach the same level with normal methods.

A boost upgrade can change the attack or defense attributes of an armored weapon or. These upgrades are available to be made using the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. They can also be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear or by purchasing them from the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals per.

The player can get up to five boost upgrades at one time; each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-level version of the item will be available during the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to continue improving their equipment even if they're uncertain of how much they'll improve after a future reset.

Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process can be expensive, and there is a high risk that the item upgrader mod may be obsolete or even break if it fails. A failed upgrade will cause the destruction of Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items to increase or even eliminate the possibility of failure, as well as a few upgrades that give an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to improve the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs increase the power of nodes within a radius, including any pre-existing affixes. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We recommend upgrading them as quickly as possible up to 15 levels.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced, but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restrictions. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can decide to replace it with a different Glyph with the same rank, or a higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase the glyphs with certain tools that allow unlimited use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has the possibility of dropping one of the numerous Glyphs and there are some rare glyphs to be obtained as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs, you will have to attach them to your gear. Each Glyph will grant a distinct bonus that can boost the stats of a particular set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.

Utilizing Glyphs Glyph will boost all the nodes connected to it, and you should aim to place your Glyphs near the most important nodes of the Graph to maximize the impact. Druids, for instance should position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may also want to consider placing them near their primary damage nodes.

Leveling

The upgrade system of items allows players to increase the stats of specific items by adding upgraded components. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items are able to be leveled until they reach a maximum level of 385 ilvl. Each item level requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient can be obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab of the crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used for upgrading an item. When enough points have been earned you will be eligible to claim the upgrade and receive its additional bonuses.

When a player upgrades an item, the base item is replaced with a different item of the same type. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item will also come with a bonus of its own. This can be a disadvantage because it can cause the item to become more expensive if you don't need it.

The upgrades to items can be rerolled, if the player has enough reroll tokens to be able to do this. The item will be replaced by the same item, but it has a base of level 1 and completely different bonuses. This can be useful but it should not be repeated often since it can waste resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled many times which increases their value and allows the player to modify their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants buffs when the player is repeatedly in or exits the water. This can be upgraded several times, each time increasing the maximum roll by a factor of 10. This item is very valuable in PvP. A perfectly rolled version can be worth as much as 50x the value of the unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to upgrade the level of their available gear--armor, weapons and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currency to an item upgrader, view it, NPC. Upgrading armor set pieces will also increase the base defense of the piece, whereas upgrading weapons will increase the damage base and the strength and dexterity required to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade an object, it is at risk of failing. The probability of failure increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to go back to its original condition, which requires the user to spend more materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the highest number of upgrades.

If an item fails to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it has gained like crit chance damage to attack, other effects (such as an increase in healing over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player can continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that when a weapon is upgraded, if it increases its crit chance, the increase will be applied prior to any attack damage increases. Slots is a brand new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost for upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For example, a common equipment item may have five upgrades at a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero quality items will have an incredibly lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they might require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Regardless, the player must visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each upgrade requires a different amount of the ingredients needed to upgrade.
