World of Warcraft Upgrades and item upgrader mod Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. They also boost extra bonuses like crit chance and PvE damage.

For instance a weapon that has the upgrade template that ends in % will suffer an attack damage of 3% each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

Item upgrading costs crests and the item's current level. The cost rises with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armor and trinkets in order to give them a stat boost or add a bonus effect. They can be acquired through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment with a slot for them; the item must have been at least upgraded to the blue level for a component to be inserted. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and cannot be applied multiple times or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a special kind of upgrade component that is that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment and some of the back items that are not ascending. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or completing a mission in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may have a prefix or suffix, modifying the name of the equipment with the upgrade (for examplethe 'Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players create stronger versions of the equipment using the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than is required to achieve the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the defense or attack properties of a weapon, or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear or by buying them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals.

The player can have a maximum of five boost upgrades at one time; each upgrade increases the probability that a better-quality version of the item will drop in the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their gear, even when they're not sure what will be improved after the reset.

Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process can be costly, and there is a high risk that the item may become obsolete or even break if it fails; a unsuccessful upgrade could ruin Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is alleviated by the availability cash shop items that can double or even eliminate chances of failure, and some upgrades that provide a bonus when reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, and include any pre-existing affixes. Glyphs can be upgraded various ways, and we recommend upgrading them to 15 levels whenever you can.

In the final game, you will often find that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is by placing Glyphs. They are the only upgrade components which can be upgraded to level 15 and give a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced, but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and replaced without restriction. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

Each Glyph has a specific range of values that it can improve a stat by. The value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you'll need them to be placed on your equipment. Each Glyph will unlock a unique bonus that can boost a particular set of stat nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Based on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will boost all nodes that are connected to them, which is why it is best to place Glyphs in the most important spots on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For instance an Druid should try to place their Glyphs near their primary damage points, but also be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to improve the stats of specific items by putting upgraded components into them. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item has a level that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items may be leveled up to a maximum level of 385. Each level requires a different number of components to be reached, and the upgrade costs increase as the item is upgraded.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab in the crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used to level up the item. Once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an item is upgraded by a player, the base item is replaced by a new item of the same kind. The same armor can be transformed into the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item comes with its own set bonus. This could be a drawback, as the item can become more expensive even if you don't require it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled if the player has enough tokens to be able to do this. The item will be replaced with an entirely new item that has a base of level 1 and completely different bonuses. This can be beneficial but it should not be used frequently as it can waste resources.

Certain upgrades can increase their value, allowing players to customize their equipment. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player repeatedly enters and leaves the water (or does not swim as a dolphin). It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time increasing the max roll by an increment of 10. This item can be extremely useful in PvP battles, since an item that is properly rolled it can be worth between 20 and 50 times its non-upp'd value.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to upgrade the level of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currency to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also improve the strength of their base defense and upgrades to weapon items increase their base damage as well as their strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear which can be upgraded with eight upgrades. Every each time you upgrade an item, it has a chance to fail--the rate of failure increases as you go beyond the maximum number of upgrades. Failures can result in the item reverting to its original condition, which requires the user to spend more materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the maximum amount of upgrades.

If an item does not upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. Additionally, the item will lose any gained bonuses such as crit chance, attack damage, and all additional effects associated with the effect (for example, increased heal over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player may continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

If an item upgrader is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from lowest to highest. This means that if a weapon receives a crit chance boost, the increase will be applied before any attack damage increases. Slots is a brand-new attribute that has been added to the definitions of items. The value is recalculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating as well as the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading equipment that is not premium is equal to its value. For instance an item of common use could have five upgrades for a price of. 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero quality items have a lower cost per upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they may require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Whatever the case, players will have to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each upgrade requires the use of different ingredients for upgrading.
