Natura &Co completed the acquisition of Avon Products, Inc. in January which made it the fourth-largest pure-play beauty brand in the world. The shareholders will own 76% of the combined company. This deal is subject to regulatory approvals.

Natura &Co will begin trading its shares on the New York Stock Exchange through ADRs in January. This will allow the group to maximize synergies across its brands and expand its product offerings and reach 200 million consumers worldwide.

To propel the next stage of growth, the company has also appointed an entirely new leadership team. Roberto Marques will serve as the Group Chief Executive Officer and Angela Cretu, will manage the company's global operations. She will oversee the management and operations of Natura outside of Latin America.

Joao Paulo worked for 20 years at Unilever before joining Natura. He held a variety of roles, structure including Vice President Supply Chain. His last position with the company was Vice President of Operations & Logistics.

Angela Cretu

Angela Cretu, an Avon veteran and a member of its top management team, will take over as the company's chief executive officer. Cretu has more than 20 years of experience in running a top cosmetics brand and is well-positioned to oversee the company's global operations.

Fernando J. Acosta

Acosta is one of the most senior executive leaders at Avon. He joined Avon in 2011 as Senior Vice President and President Latin America and was recently named Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer. This role will be directly accountable to Charles Herington, the Company's Executive Chairman.

He is the Chief Marketing and Social Selling Officer at Avon. He also oversees the creation and implementation of the new social selling approach that is digital.

Fernando Acosta began his career at Unilever as an apprentice in management. He has worked in Europe and the United Kingdom. In the past, he held high-level positions within Unilever's Latin American operations.

From 1999 to 2004 he was the Category President for Latin America at Unilever. His job included overseeing the most recognizable brands of the company such as Dove. At the same time, he was also involved in the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, a global initiative which launched new products such as Pro Age.

After his time as a senior vice-president for Unilever's Middle Americas business, he was promoted to a more international role. He served as Brand President of Dove Global at Unilever from 2006 to 2008. In that time, he was based in New York.

In the past, he served as a Regional President for Latin America at Avon. His duties included driving sales, creating the brand's Latin American strategy, and aiding in the development of new product lines , such as Pro Age.
