Narwal Robot Vacuum and Mop

A relative newcomer to the robot vacuum space, Narwal offers a sweeping and mopping hybrid that's pretty impressive. However, it's expensive and is hampered by a clunky app with a steep learning curve.

To mop, drop a sheet of detergent into the base station's water tank that is clean. Then, it uses clean water to scrub the pads and scrub floors using 10N pressure.

Features

The Narwal T10 is a combination robot vacuum and mop that is able to sweep clean, scrub, and scrub hard floors. Its smart navigation and mapping system is built on simultaneous localization (SLAM) technologies. It also features anti-collision and cliff-sensing technologies that help keep the machine from colliding into furniture or falling down stairs. It also detects and avoid rugs. This is a typical problem for many robot vacuum/mop/hybrids.

The industrial robot vacuum (just click the next post) is equipped with two large tanks of water, one for clean water and the other for dirty. Before a mopping run, it automatically goes to its base station and pre-soaks its pads with clean water from the tank. The rotating pad and the dual side brushes sift hair, dirt and debris into vacuum slots. This eliminates the dustbin and is greener than traditional cleaning.

The app lets you draw an outline of your area that allows you to mark areas for sweeping and mopping. Design

Performance

The Narwal Freo does an amazing job cleaning hard floors. It has large water tanks that are easy to maintain as well as a variety of mopping intensity settings. It also has the ability to clean up small spills and messes left on carpet. The vacuuming capabilities aren't too impressive. Its vacuum power of 1,800Pa is lower than the more expensive robovacuums like the Roborock MaxV shark ai ultra robot vacuum with self empty base.
