Narwal Robot Vacuum and Mop

Narwal is a relative newcomer to the robot vacuum market. It offers a sweeping/mopping hybrid that is pretty impressive. It's costly and is hindered by a cumbersome, slow learning-curve app.

To mop, drop a sheet of detergent into the base station's water tank that is clean. Then, it uses clean water to scrub the pads and scrub floors with 10N pressure.

Features

The Narwal T10 is a combination robot vacuum and mop that is able to sweep, scrub, and clean hard floors. Its intelligent mapping and navigation system is based on simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) technology. It also comes with anti-collision, cliff-sensing and anti-collision technologies that prevent the machine from falling down a staircase or hitting furniture. It can also identify and avoid rugs. This is a common problem for many robot vacuum/mop/hybrids.

The robot has two huge tanks of water, one for clean water and one for dirty. It will automatically soak the pads in clean water before a mopping session. During the mopping cycle, sensors alert you to when it's time to change the pads and replenish the water. It uses 16 ounces of clean water, which is less than the majority of comparable robots.

The T10 will automatically dry the pads once you've cleaned them. This will prevent cross-contamination. Then, it will resume mopping the area it began.
