World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade

The feature of upgrading items allows players to increase the item level for weapons that can be equipped or armor. This boosts the stats of the item and can also add buffs or rerolls to an attach.

A new item will also have increased stats, which can improve its performance in a variety of ways. This could include increasing its attack power or critical strike chance. The upgraded item can also add additional benefits to the unit it's equipped with. These upgrades can be used to boost the overall power of a group or unit, and can be a major influence on the gameplay.

The items can be upgraded at any NPC that is an upgrader in the game. These NPCs are located in major questing areas, or capital cities. Players can also find item upgraders when they visit dungeons with high-level bosses, or by chatting with NPCs in their faction's garrisons.

The item upgrade system in World of Warcraft provides players with the ability to upgrade the levels of armor, weapons and trinkets. The process is similar to that of gear reforging in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor however, instead of using the currency appropriate to the task players must visit an NPC to upgrade their items to complete the process.

Upgrades can be costly especially for weapons and armor. Depending on which upgrade track you choose, each item level increase will cost Valorstones or Crests. The costs can be prohibitive for players who do not have the funds, or are unwilling to grind.

The game allows you to play a reroll of an upgraded item with a special tool in the menu of items. However, it can be a waste of time.

Requirements

Rerolling some upgraded items is only possible if the item was upgraded was Epic Rare, Rare or Unique. Some exceptional items can also be eligible for rerolling, but their original stats will be replaced with an uninvolved bonus. Rerolling a Rare or Epic item will result in an ordinary version, while rolling the Epic version will result in an elite version.

A newly upgraded item upgrading could include additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item and boost its performance. These additional modifiers aren't included in the upgrade items cost. They can be acquired by the questing process, purchasing them from the Trading Post or from other players. They can also be earned by completing certain tasks in the game.

To upgrade an item of equipment, you must visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Depending on the kind of item, you will require one or more Power Dices (Dice 6 is available from monsters 21+ and Giants and Dice 12 is available from Bosses). Time

Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, armor, and weapons in order to gain an attribute bonus, or an additional effect, while the equipment is being worn. Some upgrade components also come with cosmetic effects. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors or the Trading Post, looting or receiving as a gift. Players can also retrieve upgraded items using an upgrade extractor or salvaging with a high-tier salvage kit. Glyphs, which are stored in gathering tools can be swapped without any restrictions.

A player can reroll an item to upgrade it into another item by selecting it and pressing the green button a reroll arrow. This will change the layout of the game and allow players to choose up to six items for "recycling". The item will be replaced by an item of level 1. Recycled items will not keep their status, nor will the resources used to upgrade it.

The highest level of upgrade an item can achieve is determined by its quality and tier. Rare and Epic items are able to be upgraded up to level nine, while common items can only be upgraded to level six. The upgrades to an item are added to the base statistics of the item which means that they will no longer increase after a specific point.
