It's quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted areas extremely quickly, and the hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways in a single pass. Its suction motor of 8,000pa makes short work of picking up dirt, crumbs, and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs and the double side brushes help to clean debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, though not by a lot. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and makes use of 2.2lbs to remove dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a little more than other robots. This is useful when getting into tight corners or on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to collect larger objects such as books and toys that have been damaged.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot vacuum cleaner best mop and vacuums I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't produce more noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a exclusive cleaning solution for mopping and is separate from the vacuum. It is simple to install and works well. The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive of our review. It does however, have distinct features that make it worth looking into. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its huge dock which doubles as a charging base as well as housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a clean sink and the 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically empties.

The base has a couple of buttons for control that allow you to manually start cleaning tasks, recall the robot vacuum cleaner or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. Press two of the buttons to toggle the child lock which is a great option for parents concerned about children playing with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the Omni Omni utilizes its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at recognizing objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni could sometimes get so entangled with an obstruction, such as the power cord that is draped across a rug, that it gets stuck and stops working until you free it. This was a rare occurrence however, it was a bit frustrating because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert in its application.

The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad but mopping pads don't get washed or dried between uses. This could lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a significant contrast to the basic black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. And it's an impressive sight in a market dominated by clunky boxy units.
