WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boosts in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. A random substat is also increased with each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the necessity to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enhancements.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and can be visited anytime to upgrade your equipment. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader each couple of weeks.

The cost of upgrades will depend on the current level of the item being upgraded but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new gear from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade item weapons, armor, tools and accessory upgrades. Players can purchase them through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners for various currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be used on any weapon or tool with the help of button, which displays an image of the item at the next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the item slot and the current level of the item upgrader kit, with weapons costing more than gloves or bracers for instance. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with certain upgrades offering discounts to reduce the cost of Flightstones or crests that are used. After an item level upgrade [fsquan8.cn] has been upgraded to a certain amount and is degraded, it can be sold and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of both currency types.

Crests

The new currency system isn't too difficult to use, but it does bring some changes to the process of upgrading. For example, once an item reaches the highest level of upgrading for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This is to allow players to upgrade their equipment up to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

It's also crucial to choose crests with care, since they have only one purpose. For instance, it's a good idea to utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests with the best equipment available, and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you plan on making. This is especially true for items like trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character, which can only be eligible to take advantage of the account-wide discount if all slots are filled with top-quality equipment.
