Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using an application that allows you to save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, as well as how much water the mop is using.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, in order to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means that you can set it and forget it, and only need to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it began to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids that I've test.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only issue is that it's pricey. The number of features make it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its powerful features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It also includes an app-based controller that is smart and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combos available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floor types and managing to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops were also excellent, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It also has a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid best automatic vacuum cleaner mop I tried. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's many top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance and care. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are bought separately are required to be replaced periodically too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to remember that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot cleaner mop and robotic vacuum you can buy, its high purchase cost and maintenance costs will eventually make it more of a desire than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot vacuum and mop that will remove dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet mess, then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It even has an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-cleaning to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it is constantly supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes, or swept into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements, and then empty into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

Like most robot vacuums and mop combinations The S1 Pro is ready to come out of the box. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you opt for this option however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum, but it still has some impressive features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before it has to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of removing debris and pet hair from carpets.

The app that runs this appliance is complex, with a broad range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start the full map and then take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've created. There are a number of mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, as all Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in an organized manner. Its 'Normal" pathing option covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a good alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the mopping function of the vacuum to get rid of the last remnants of dust and debris that you've left behind from the vacuuming. It's a nice addition, and it helps this robot clean up a little bit better than its less expensive competitors.
