World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.

For instance, a weapon with the upgrade template that is ending in % will gain 3% attack damage every time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item upgrade's level. The cost increases as the level of the item increases.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be inserted into armor, weapons, and trinkets in order to provide a stat bonus or extra effect when they're used. These can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Some upgrades also have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be applied to devices that have slots. The item must be at least upgraded to blue before a component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied once. They cannot be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and enrichments are a particular kind of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment and some of the non-ascended back items. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it is applied to (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Rarity or Level of an item level upgrade, allowing players to create stronger versions using the smallest amount of upgrade crystals than they require to reach the same level using normal methods.

A boost upgrade is a way to alter the defense or attack attributes of a weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be made from the Portative Forging Station once the player completes the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanic. They can also be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear, or by buying them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals.

The player is able to have the maximum of five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a better-quality version of the item upgrade will drop during the next reset. This gives players the opportunity to upgrade their equipment even when they're not sure what will be improved following a reset.

Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process can be costly, and there is a substantial chance that the item could be obsolete or even break if it fails. A failed upgrade will cause the destruction of Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the risk of failure. Some upgrades also offer a bonus if they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in special sockets. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, including any pre-existing affixes. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways, and we recommend upgrading them to 15 levels as soon as possible.

You will often find in the endgame that putting Glyphs is a great way to upgrade your equipment. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded up to level 15 and give a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, the sole upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and replaced with no restrictions are the most commonly used. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and then re-install.

Each Glyph has a particular range of values it can improve a stat by, and the value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can choose to replace it with another Glyph with the same rank or higher rank, which will boost the value of the glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of an Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs then you have to attach them to your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that can boost the stats of a specific set of nodes that are within a radius of the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats depending on the Glyph.

The use of Glyphs Glyph will boost all nodes that are connected to it, and you should aim to place your Glyphs near the most important nodes of the Graph to maximize the impact. For instance that a Druid should try to position their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes, but also be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes too.

Leveling

The upgrade system of items allows players to boost the stats of specific items by inserting upgraded components. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum of 385. Each level of item requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient can be obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab in crafting tables. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns several Technology Points. These points can be used to level up the item, and when enough points are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades a piece of equipment it will be replaced with a new item. The same armor will be upgraded to an weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also have its own set bonus. This could be a drawback in that the item could be more expensive even if you don't require it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens in order to do so. This will cause the item to be exchanged for a brand new one, with an initial level and a totally different set of bonuses. This is a good option for certain items, but it's not something that should be performed frequently, since it can waste many resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value, allowing players to customize their equipment. A good example of this is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player repeatedly enters and exits water (or swims like a dolphin). It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time raising the maximum roll by an increment of 10. This item is extremely valuable in PvP. A perfectly rolled version can be worth up to 50x the value of its unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items - see, allows players to upgrade the level of their available gear--armor, weapons and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by presenting the appropriate items and currency to an NPC that upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase its base defense and weapon upgrades items increase their base damage and also increase their strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear, which can be upgraded with eight upgrades. Each time you upgrade an item it is given the chance to fail. The failure rate increases the more you go beyond the maximum number of upgrades. Failures can cause the item to return to its initial state which means that the player has to pay for more resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item is not upgraded the experience bar on its growth bar will be reset to zero. The item upgrader will also lose any bonuses it earned like the chance to crit attack damage, other effects (such as an increase in healing over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player may continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

When an Best item upgrader is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that, if a weapon gains an increase in its crit chance, the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. A new attribute known as Slots has been added to the item's definition and the value is computed every time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to the value of the base item. For instance an item of common use could have five upgrades for a price of. 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items are less expensive per upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements than standard gear--for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but more minerals and erons. Regardless, the player will need to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each upgrade will require a different amount of the ingredients for upgrading.
