The Q Revo is a great option if you're seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's mid-range. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of the button. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough maps of your area to ensure that your home is properly arranged.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets however iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. We like the claim but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping feature is better still--its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. But that's not a problem for those who want to own one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any goovi robot vacuum we've tested thanks to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are nice to have, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category and could mean it's a little more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel has a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the settings menu of the app where you can tweak how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability which clears 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most powerful robot vacuum difficult juice stain. Its mops also perform well, removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
