The IQ is a better option for the majority of users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a larger dustbin and lasts longer on charge and does a better job of moving itself around obstacles. It comes with a mopping tool that can clean up sticky messes. The iRobot, however, feels more sturdy and has fewer parts that require replacement or maintenance, incurs less cost per year, and can create virtual no go zones with its companion application. It can even restart the cleaning process from where it left off if it runs out of battery before finishing the job. The iRobot can also be controlled via voice, which can be an enormous benefit for many users.
