Having the right tools available is essential when you are in the field. This kit was created with this in mind and includes all of the basic hand tools needed to repair equipment in the field. The tools are all made of metal and have only a small amount of plastic to withstand use. Repair Patches

If you've got a gap or two in your gears, consider adding adhesive patches to your rep kit. These patches made of heavy-duty materials have high-performance glue pre-applied on a tough polyurethane backing that allows a tear under pressure to recover. Available in clear and colored options They offer durability against punctures, moisture sunlight, saltwater, and temperatures that are extreme.

If your kit isn't stocked with any of the above items, consider adding a bag of water-proof Aquaseal wader repair sealant. This water-tight adhesive will bond to fabrics and metals to create a permanent fix. It's perfect for repairing drysuits and can be applied on the job. Allow the sealant to cure for up to 12 hours prior using your repaired gear.

The essential field fabric kit for tents, packs and rainwear made of silicone-impregnated polyester. It includes one Clean Tape repair patch as well as an swatch of sil-nylon. Also included is a 1/4-ounce Gore-Tex Repair and Sealant Adhesive Brush and sealant tube. Apply patch to clean smooth, smooth surface. Allow a minimum 1/2 inch overlap. Remove the release paper from the patch surface and rub it with moderate pressure (adhesive side facing down).

Use the tube-scuffer to roughen the surface. This will aid the glue stick. Spread a thin layer on the patch. Cover the area with a layer which is at the very least big as the patch. Give it a few minutes to allow the glue to dry before pressing the patch down and holding it securely in the desired position.
