Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.

For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item such as armor, weapon, or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind however with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To make them, you need an upgrade level reroll token. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next Success is being rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.

This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. These stones can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players first need to find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's level, and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in battle without putting a strain on their bank account. Additionally players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for players who are new to the game. However, there are many ways to acquire them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrade components at the upgrade item Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is attained.

Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at a time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be added, as well as a minimum level for the equipment.

The upgrade item Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, previews show what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. Also, when an item is on the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to give an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through questing or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this could destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide more effects or an improved quality of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and gives an additional 20 percent chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", on the other hand increases damage from weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get the perfect roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either weapon or armor) and the level of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to show how close you are to completing it. You can also track the status of an item upgrades upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
