Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A special item upgrade can be used to evolve specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and is sometimes offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be found in armor, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets to boost their level of use. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, depending on the type of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be placed into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to give bonus effects or attributes when the equipment is utilized. The item being upgraded must have an available upgrade slot to accept the component. Most upgrade components require the item to be upgraded to be above a certain level. Some upgrade items also have special effects when they are added to an item. Upgrade components can be acquired by crafting, purchased from karma sellers, traded with other players on the Trading Post, taken from equipment, or obtained as rewards during games.

There are various upgrade components, each with various bonuses. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions can be used with any kind of equipment; they provide lower bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions are able to be used on legendary and non-amulet items, while enhancements can be used on some back equipment that is ascended. Inserting an upgrade component will destroy the previous upgrade. The exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and put back in.

Insignias and enchantments will show their name in the hover display of the item, while upgrades with suffix and prefix will add their names to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g., a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrades that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to add functional and decorative elements to an OpenType font. These include ligatures, fractions or ornaments as well as registered trademark symbols such as ellipses, swashes, and swashes. The Glyphs Panel allows you to add and view these unique characters, as well as regular symbols like em and en dashes, as well being registered trademark symbols.

Each Glyph provides an initial boost to the stats of the character. It also includes up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15 it is able to be upgraded using the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

After a Glyph reaches the desired level you can activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will provide the stated bonus and also boost the other nodes that are within its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be put where they will benefit your build the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs, however, could offer double bonuses in the event that certain conditions are fulfilled, so they're worth looking out for.

Click the cycle widget to change the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in a different font. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by selecting an option beneath "Entire Font": for instance, punctuation shows only punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is the process by which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to access the character or weapon you are interested in. This can be done to assist you in gaining more experience or to obtain better loot, such as the best weapon for your current character. Sets

If you upgrade a set item, it is a different version of itself that is superior to the previous one. For weapons and armor this means that it gets an increased base defense value and less strength requirements and an lower level requirement.

Upgrades are a great way to bring popular single-set items to level with their higher-tiered set counterparts. For example, upgrading Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired Helm increases the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.

However it's important to keep in mind that not all set items are good candidates for upgrading. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc spec's Whistan's Shield or Naj's Puzzler staff are already Exceptional and Elite in their individual ways and do not need upgrading. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit by being upgraded to boost their performance. It may be worth it to upgrade these items.
