Lamborghini Enters the World of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)

After a string of social media posts that hint at it, Italian supercar-maker Lamborghini has finally revealed its first NFT (non-fungible token) project. Space Key, developed in collaboration with an unidentified artist and based upon advanced carbon fiber composite materials that were sent to the International Space Station as research material, is a new project that was announced by lamborghini key.

The latest project, named the Space Key, is a piece created in collaboration with an unknown artist. The NFT is a unique piece of digital art that is accessed through an QR code. The project is limited to five pieces and will be auctioned in the coming weeks.

The carbon fiber was then transformed into a unique art work when it returned to Earth. The physical piece has an NFT serial number that is linked to the digital art work via a QR code on the back.

NFTs, for those not familiar are unique identifiers which are stored on a distributed ledger of the blockchain and linked to an digital asset such as a photograph or video, song or other recording. This allows owners to guarantee authenticity, scarcity, and trackability of tokens through the internet.

Lamborghini is taking this unique approach to art a step further by collaborating with NFT PRO - a white label NFT solution for businesses. Over the next few weeks, Lamborghini will be sharing details about the exciting project including the name of the unknown artist as well as a timeline for the auction.

The physical component of Space Key

The project was created in collaboration with an unidentified artist The NFT is a collectible item that will be auctioned off in a few weeks time. Its base is made of advanced carbon fibre composite material, which was delivered to the International Space Station in 2019 as part of a study. Carbon fiber was 3D printed for the base of every Space Key. Each Space Key is linked to an exclusive digital artwork via the QR code. Only five Space lambo keys (Cf58051.tmweb.ru) were produced.

Space Key is made up of five parts. It was created by using a carbon fiber composite. It was delivered to the ISS in the year 2019. The "collectors' piece" was developed in collaboration with NFTPRO(tm) and is limited to only five units. It is scheduled to be auctioned in the near future.

Each Space Key contains a block comprised of the most advanced carbon-fire composite material. It was sent to the International Space Station as part of a 2019 research program. After returning to Earth, the block was inscribed with a QR codes that link to the digital component in the Space Key.

Each of the five Space Keys will feature a separate moment that occurs a few seconds apart as the Lamborghini Ultimae lifts off toward the stars. Over 600 million pixels each of the five images, that were taken by photographer Fabian Oefner.

Oefner used an inflatable camera fitted with lenses to capture the individual images, which were later assembled into the final photograph. The result is an out-of-this world image that captures the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyper-realistic picture of the car erupting from it. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned soon, but there's no precise date or place yet.

The auction
