Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.

Reroll Tokens

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones which increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The game will add an item in your inventory when you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close you are to getting the upgrade item completed. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
