The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank will empty itself and the bin auto-filling.

The only issue I have discovered with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. It is possible to change the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for washing manually. I've noticed that any carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mount, which can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number clever features including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app lets you manage and configure these features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings, monitor the battery life and maintain your components. You'll need to go through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.

The docking station automatically empty the trash bin into a 3.2 L bin, cleans the mop pads, then refills them with clean water and cleaning solution. It can also detect when the mop pad is full and notify you before it overflows, reducing the requirement for manual maintenance.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available on the market. However, it has a number of characteristics that make it stand out.
