The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It gives a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features, including an automatic vacuum and mop robot dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits of cleaning, and recommend automatic schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the touch of a button. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or go for Best Robot Vacuum and Mop two thorough mappings of your area to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do and can pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot says it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used, but we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of more expensive models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. But that's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently smacks into it before moving on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right like a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can even clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop vacuum combo with all the features you could want. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor system that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It has a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of features that you don't often see on robots of this price. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great but they also place the L10s in the class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish accented by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is adorned with an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
