It's smaller than the other options on this list which makes it easier to maneuver into tight corners and underneath furniture. It has a 220-degree lidar, which when combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop navigation and obstacle avoidance I've ever seen in a robot vacuum. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It can even return to its dock to recharge its battery in mid-clean.

It is very efficient and does an outstanding job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen, and hallways with just one sweep. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to clean dirt hair, pet hair, and poop easily. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects carpets, and the dual side brush assists in removing debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, though not by a lot. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high speed and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scraping away dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots, which is useful to maneuver around tight corners and on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to scoop up larger debris such as books and toys that have been damaged.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've tried. It doesn't make as loud of a sound while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for its mopping function and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is easy to set up and performs well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum solely for mopping it is important to be aware of this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a variety of features.

The Matrix Plus robot is a excellent choice for those who are looking for a smart device that can automatic vacuum and mop and mop.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. It does however, have some unique features which make it worth considering. The X1 Omni is most notable for its massive dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin as well as the 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base also has a variety of control buttons that allow you to manually start cleaning or recall the robot or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a great feature for parents worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

The X1 Omni like other robotic vacuums, utilizes its camera to identify obstacles and furniture in its path. It will steer clear of them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

This can cause the X1 to become stuck when it gets caught in a hazard like a power cable tangled over a rug. It will not work until you remove it manually. While this was rare but it was a very frustrating experience when it did happen particularly since the X1 Omni doesn't come with a "stuck" status alert in its app.

The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad, except that mopping pads don't get washed or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a big contrast to the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing appearance in a market that is dominated by clunky boxy models.
