The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to locate your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is integrated into the charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up it can begin automated cleaning with a single button click. You can choose an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.

This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It sucks up large items and Best Robot Vacuum does not lose suction as fast as other models do, and it can even clean up pet hair without difficulty. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is better - its spinning pads clean your floors more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable price to pay if you want one of the best robots available. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash to the hidden bin, as well as cleans and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong like the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your home or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first go. This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a full cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a set route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect different flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great but they also place the L10s in the class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that is a switch for on and off. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options or schedules, as well as preferences.
