You can set it up and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or change the dust bag every now and then.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only downside is that it's costly. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot automatic vacuum cleaner and mop is a high-end combination. Its price is justified by its impressive features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it was able to perform well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The dock empties its dustbin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank to enable mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It also features an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. The base station must be cleaned and the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried on a regular basis to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will require replacement every few months.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features, I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. The software that runs the appliance is quite complex, with a broad range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area mapped by this device or select specific rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. There are several mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the mops' sensors to find the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.
