WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of the item level upgrade (just click the next web site) by +3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless it has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as useful for the latter because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the item level, however they'll always be cheaper than buying new equipment. For instance upgrading a Benthic chest piece to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points while buying a similar item from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapons, armor, tools and accessory upgrades. They can be bought by players from NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for various currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be applied to any weapon or tool with a button, which will show an image of the item at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the slot for the item and the current item level. For example weapons are more expensive than bracers, or gloves. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to lower the cost of Flightstones or the crests used. Once an item is upgraded to a certain degree and is degraded, it can be sold and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of both currency types.

Upgraders for items can be found in many places including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade discount and the chance to get a brand new upgrade recipe. The upgrade discount increases depending on the amount of items that are being upgraded, and can be boosted by having players complete specific achievements or quests.

In contrast to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no upgrader for items available at the start of Icewind Dale. Instead, the NPCs that are available to facilitate upgrades require a variety of means, which is both an improvement and a drawback.

Crests

It's also important to use crests in a wise manner, as they have only one purpose. It is recommended to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the best gear you can locate and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next set of upgrades. This is especially true for items such as trinkets and rings that fill multiple slots. The discount on the account will only apply when all slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
