It also features an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which lifts the pad as it moves from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsed and then dried with the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means that you can set it and forget it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop- and vac-settings for Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum approximately 160 minutes before it began to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a complete and robust product, with the only drawback being that it's expensive. But its abundance of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well across the entire home. It was able to remove 98.4 percent of the debris on any type of floor and managed to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and a strong dose cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's main highlight is its multifunctional docking station. The dock empties its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dry its mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops that I test The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be emptied, and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads that are bought separately, are required to be replaced on a regular basis too.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey price tag and extensive functionality I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're on a smaller budget, I suggest a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could purchase however, its cost and constant maintenance will make it seem more an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors, while cleaning up wet mess, then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle-avoiding. It even has mop rollers that clean itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to rinse off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the full width of the bot and is continuously dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept away into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage canister. The tank that is onboard holds a good amount of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do most robotic vacuums and mops. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to the dock. If you choose this feature, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot hoover and mop brands that allow you to choose your preferred brand of cleaners.

Like many robots that vacuum and mop like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple of times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my testing however this could be fixed when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have several impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a large portion of a space before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair from carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can clean manually every area that is that are mapped by this device, or select individual rooms, an expandable zone or a custom routine you've designed. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to find the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.

The Qrevo did well during our tests, just as all Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system is efficient by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat manner. Its 'Normal" pathing settings cover an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well too, but it is not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify dangers like thick carpets however it won't always recognize smaller things like rug tassels or electrical wires.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the mopping feature of the vacuum to eliminate the last remnants of debris and dust that you've left behind from your vacuuming. It's a nice touch and can help this robot get rid of a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
