The Pre-licensing course can be completed in the classroom or through virtual classroom or distance learning. If you opt for the classroom version, you will receive a MV-278 Prelicensing Certificate of Completion. All courses follow the same syllabus, regardless of the version you choose. The provider will automatically report your completion to the DMV when you have successfully completed your course.
