Our BMW ghost immobiliser is a unique next-generation device that does not require cutting OEM wires or adding an aftermarket alarm and key fobs. It is connected to the BMW CAN data network, and is programmed with a unique PIN code that is accessed by buttons in your car. This allows you to enter key sequences that are not available in the normal menus for media. For instance the volume up/down button, or source controls, cruise control, air conditioning and more. The PIN is between 4 and 20 characters, making it hard for thieves to guess.

We can also include the service/valet mode. This mode is activated when your car ghost immobiliser is being serviced so that the Ghost is away from the garage. You can activate this mode by pressing the service button 5 times on your infotainment device (the system will flash with confirmation) and the ghost 2 immobiliser problems will automatically re-arm when you return.

If the anti-hijacking mode has been activated the attempt to restart the engine will be stopped. We can connect your ghost autowatch immobiliser device to your mobile app to allow remote control of keyless start and go functionality. This is useful when a valet or mechanic has to start your car but you need to go somewhere and not in the vicinity. The system allows you to turn the car on and off, then select drive and exit service mode without needing your key fobs. You can also track your vehicle on the map in real-time using your smartphone.

The ghost immobiliser and tracker can be placed under the dashboard or within the centre console, it is completely concealed and tamperproof and doesn't require any extra wiring. The device is connected to the vehicle's CAN Data Network (similar to an Ethernet cable) and a personal PIN code is embedded into it. This pin code needs to be chosen before the vehicle is started. This will prevent thieves from gaining access to the system by using the cloned or replaced ECU.

If your vehicle is taken away, the Ghost will go into service mode and stop all functions until you have the PIN number or use the mobile application to disarm it.
