1. iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO

The i3+ EVO is identical to its sibling i3 EVO. They differ only in that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. The i3+ does not have the same obstacle avoidance capabilities as the i7+ or any other top-rated robots we tested. iRobot recommends clearing areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, including getting rid of any toys or clutter it might encounter. It is also recommended to keep the dustbin and filter clean to prevent them from getting blocked. When the i3+ EVO’s internal bin is empty or the battery is low it returns to the docking station, and it automatically emptys the dirt into the docking station’s external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning where it started. The i3+ EVO's battery can last for approximately an hour and a half continuous use, and it takes about three hours to fully recharge.

2. iRobot i7+ Roomba

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the top model of the flagship line from iRobot, and it is equipped with the most recent features. It's self-charging, self-navigating and the most crucial feature of all -- it comes with an auto-emptying dustbin, which eliminates one of the main sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.

The Roomba I7+ is able to make rooms more efficient maps using Imprint Smart Mapping. It also works with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and direct your robot by voice or through the app.

The i7+ is quicker and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying bin, which removes major maintenance sources and reduces recurring cost.

We were also amazed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or top Rated Robot Vacuum pause its cleaning routines and to move around the room and sweep a specific space.
