Some have great navigation and obstacles avoidance. Others even wash and refill mopping pads themselves for a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking to buy a robot vacuum that also mop, this is the model to look for. It's smaller than other options, making it more maneuverable in tight spaces or under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in a robotic hoovers vacuum. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery which lasts up to 170-minutes if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can last longer in turbo). It will even return to the dock to replenish its battery part way through cleaning.

It's quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted areas extremely quickly, and the hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in a single sweep. The suction motor's 8,000pa makes short work of picking up dirt, droppings and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs and the double side brush assists in removing debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, but not by much. The rotating mop spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a bit more than other robots. This is useful in narrow corners or along baseboards. Those same front arms can also be employed to clean larger objects, such as broken toys and fallen books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've tried. It doesn't make the same volume of sound while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It's simple to install and is effective however, this is something that you'll need to be aware of when you purchase this vacuum for the sole purpose of it mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is equipped with a broad array of features that make it a great choice for homeowners looking to purchase an efficient, flexible, and customizable cleaning machine.

The device comes with a powerful and impressive cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors and an RGB camera to map the house and locate furniture and other obstacles. It then uses this information to clean efficiently and robot vacuum that mops intelligently. This leads to an efficient, consistent clean that's also fairly fast.

In terms of mopping, the Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads are capable of reaching many different surface areas. These include corners, baseboards, and other difficult-to-access spots. The side brush can be stretched out to reach the floor near to the walls and other fixtures. The mop pads are also washable and dry to eliminate odors and stop buildup.

Another notable feature is the customization options that are available through apps. The Q Revo lets you adjust the suction strength and select an back-and-forth or random pattern. You can also set the number of passes it must make, which will determine the speed at which the device can traverse your home. You can also disable the side brush to avoid damaging carpets and carpets.

This device has a fairly expensive price, but is packed with a wide array of innovative features. It is important to remember, however, that the device is subject to regular expenses, such as mopping supplies and regular maintenance. For instance, the brushroll will need to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to 12 months. The filter is to be cleaned every 150 hours, and mop pads should be changed every three months.

This robot vacuum that mops has an excellent rating on Amazon and offers a wide array of physical automation features. This includes the power button that doubles as a general 'Clean button, as well as a 'Home button that sends it back to its base station after finishing its cleaning task. If you're a professional with a lot of work or someone who wants an organized home that doesn't require a lot of time on chores, the Shark Matrix Plus is a solid choice. Its incredibly fast performance, sophisticated navigation and long battery life make it easy to maintain a clean house with little effort.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a 2-in-1 vacuum mop cleaner robot and mop. It is capable of vacuuming as well as mopping. The robot comes with two modules: a dry bin and reservoir of water, and a separate mopping system with microfiber pads that snap into and out of position. Separate modules for mopping and vacuuming might seem a bit outdated, but they do mean you don't have to worry about changing disposable bags or refueling the tank with water.

The Matrix Plus performed well at vacuuming and mopping. Its greatest feature was its precise floorplan which it uses to determine an outline for cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate easily through rugs, furniture and other obstacles. The app also offers the option of setting "No-Go zones" and virtual barriers, which help to shield specific areas of your home from being swept with a mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a remarkable job at collecting pet hair. It was able capture a large amount of hair that shed by our cats and even was able to get into the nooks and crevices of our stairs, Robot Vacuum That Mops where other robots struggled. It was fairly quiet and even had some pleasant jingles that signalled when it was starting or completing its task.

The app was too simple and you had to switch the modules every time you switched between vacuuming and mops. The app is not able to keep multiple maps. This can be an issue if your home has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good choice for people who want an intelligent robot that can perform both mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, but it comes with some distinct features that make it worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its massive dock which doubles as the robot's charging base and the housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning and the 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically emptys.

The base also has a number of buttons to control the system. These allow you to manually start cleaning and then recall the robot or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Press two of the buttons to switch on a child lock, which is a nice option for parents concerned about their children playing with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni will sometimes get so entangled with an obstacle--such as the power cord that is draped across a rug, that it gets stuck and stops working until you free it. Although this is not a common occurrence but it was a very frustrating experience when it did happen, especially since the X1 Omni does not come with a "stuck" status alert in its app.

Another possible issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad however, the mopping pad isn't washed or dried between uses. This could lead to mildew and mold.

On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome appearance in a market that is dominated by clunky boxy models.
