The i3+ EVO is different from the other robot vacuums we tested comes with a self-emptying bin that automatically disposes of debris into an external dirt container on its charging base when it is full. This makes it easier to maintain the unit and keeps the i3+ EVO from overfilling, however it still needs to be manually cleaned after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's internal dust bin can hold 2.4L of debris, which is enough to last several cleaning sessions before you need to replace it.

Like the i7model, this model also uses the latest floor tracking sensors to create maps and navigate neat rows. However the i3+ EVO only stores one map, while the i7 has the capacity to store multiple maps. The i7's map is used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones but not the i3+ EVO.

While the i3+ EVO is better at picking up dirt and debris from surfaces than the other robovacs we reviewed, it's not the best buy robot vacuum in terms of cleaning corners and edges. It is also less gentle on furniture, despite being fairly quiet. It moved chairs away from walls, and made some collisions with the sides of our test bed, and became stuck on cords and toys during our testing.
