1. Eufy S1 Pro

It has plenty to offer for its affordable price, and it's one of the most simple robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start guide will have you running in no time. You'll have a a full dust bag, water tank, and a hard floor solution.

The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can mops up a storm and is a great vacuum cleaner too. Its mops spin at high speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, making short work of dirt, pet hair and dried sticky spills. The vacuum mop cleaner robot cleaner comes with four power settings, a variety of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app that lets you choose the type of cleaning you'd like for each room.

For example, you can decide to let the robot take care of a thorough clean-up in the living and kitchen but take it easy in the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation tech are excellent too and the robot is capable of detecting small obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. Its only issue is that it tends to crash into walls and objects at full speed. However, a quick look at the cleaning history on the app will tell you precisely what the robot has done, where it is going, and which obstacles it has encountered or avoided.

The docking station has an LCD display that indicates the time when maintenance is required like emptying the debris and washing the dirty water tank. It also mixes detergent into the tank in a controlled manner with a 600ml of eufy solution.

Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop have plenty of run-time as well, with the mop being able to operate for up to 184 minutes in quiet mode and the best automatic vacuum and mop able to do 136 minutes in standard mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to replenish. The app is easy to use and intuitive that lets you view all the details of the cleaning.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's flagship robot cleaner with mop mop and vacuum. The model of this year features a double agitator built into its mopping pad. This enhances the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power which allows it to pull up finer hairs and other debris other robotic cleaners could miss.

As with the other two Roborock models I've tried it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology to can help it avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further by incorporating two cameras that can recognize objects, determining if they are walls or other surfaces. It can then automatically change its path and clean the objects without a pause.

This is the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, but it's also loaded with features. Its sleek and angular design is eye-catching and it only has three physical buttons that include the power button which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can return the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml tank of water. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin automatically refills.

The only negative I found with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for washing manually. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and that can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app allows you to manage and configure these features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings and monitor battery life and component maintenance. However, you'll have to go through a few hoops to enable voice control with this model which is a pity considering the performance of this model.

3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop that has incredible suction power, sophisticated mowing capabilities, and a variety of innovative features. Its innovative design lets you to personalize and efficiently clean while reducing time.

The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to feature 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is one of the most powerful alternatives available. This powerful vacuum cleans up dry mess, including pet hair and dust. It has a mop of top quality that cleans hard floors without the need for a pad. Additionally the X40 is extremely quiet during its operation, with only occasional bursts of sound when switching modes or completing self-maintenance tasks.

The X40 also has a side brush that is able to be extended and lifted. This lets it reach into corners that are difficult to reach and clean furniture with curved edges such as table and chair legs. The robot is also able to reach under low-profile furnishings which makes it an ideal choice for small apartments or condos. The side brush automatically swivels downwards when it detects wet spots, which is a nice addition that assists the X40 keep floors safe from damage caused by the frequent back-and-forth movement.

In contrast to other robots that are limited to a single task, the X40 can mop and vacuum at the same time. It can also be programmed to skip areas with carpet and mop only hard floors, and vice versa. It can be controlled by the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operations.

The app is simple to use and understand and the X40 has many smart features that are easy to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, look at mapping and floor plans and manage mopping settings. The X40 will also monitor its progress and notify you when it's done.

The X40 is easy to clean and has numerous features that make it a great option for busy families. The docking station can automatically cleans the dustbin and mop pads before refilling them with fresh cleaning solution and robots That vacuum and mop water. It can also tell when the mop pad is overflowing and notify you when it overflows, reducing the need for manual maintenance.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available on the market. It does have many features that make it stand out. The mops come with a brand new feature called Smart DuoScrub. It utilizes two mops that are high-speed to clean floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and it has a high maximum suction power of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can vacuum up pet hair and smaller dirt particles as well as picking up spills and wet spots.

The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station each time they are used. This is a great feature because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours that can build up in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature that we haven't seen on other robot vacuum and mop models. It could be a great method to keep your home cleaner longer.

There's a wealth of settings available which include the ability to schedule cleaning times and alter a variety of preferences. These settings can be adjusted via the app, or via direct buttons on the device itself. The L20 Ultra is also one of the most elegant robots we've seen on market, sporting metallic and white colors that is elegant and stylish. It is a little heavier at 4kg than the other robots listed on this list, but it's still not too heavy. It feels solid and well-constructed. The mopping design is also excellent, and the double rotating mop works well on hard floors and in corners. They can also extend to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice feature.
