Some go further than this and include an array of custom-designed storage units. The desk can be moved between two units on wheels. There are also four drawers of storage and two cabinets that have doors. The Eli F takes things to the next level by having doors that are matched to your foot and head boards.

The Luna low-line loft bed or the midi-storage bed is small and includes everything you require. A ladder that is able to be rotated, a desk on wheels that slides between the two and three drawer cabinets and chest are all included. It's important to note that many midi loft beds with desk require a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with an slatted wooden base. This isn't included in the cost of the bed, so we suggest looking at our fantastic mattress deals to find a deal that fits your budget!

Mattress

Most midi beds are compatible with standard UK single mattresses, and the top bunk comes with a safety rail that gives you peace of mind. Some models include a fabulous pull out trundle drawer for sleepovers or storage space underneath the bed. They can be opened or equipped with doors (please refer to the product's details for more details).

Many midi cabins include desks that can be moved between two upper levels, or chests of drawers. This provides children with a unique space to store all their belongings and means there's no need to use up valuable floor space with heavy shelving units or wardrobes.

Some models have gone one step further with cabinets that are flush mounted or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is great for midi loft bed storing toys and books.
